Open Food Chain is a web3 company that brings traceability to our food. We are fast, curious and accountable. We are looking for a financial professional that fits our culture and can help us reach the next growth stage. 

OFC is the easy entry into web3 for supply chains. Examples are JuicyChain, BlockchainBurger and BlockchainBar, all fully traceable nutrients. 

We have been cashflow driven from day one, profitable since 2019 and have grown our revenues ever since. We seek someone keen to establish our next-level financial structure, refine our business model, focus on margins and help us attract growth funding.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline all financial processes: meet requirements, automate as much as possible, make agile financial predictions, budgets and reporting and update compliance processes. Off-board our admin office and set up streamlined scalable financial processes that inspire the team
  • Take a lead in our financing rounds, co-create pitch decks, valuations and other financial documents for potential investors
  • Refining our business model and SaaS-strategy

Must-haves

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in finance
  • Proven experience with investors and funding rounds 
  • Hands-on finance experience, from making budgets to sending invoices
  • Experience with corporate, scaleup and startup environments
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills in English and a clear communication style
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working

Nice to haves

  • A good understanding of blockchain technology and tokenization
  • Good knowledge of Dutch legislation and organization forms
  • Experience with public funds 
  • Comfortable with the Dutch language
